Panic Attack - Though panic attacks can be a side
effect of VCD
VCD is a very real and very frightening condition! It
occurs when multiple factors present themselves at the
same time.
Many people with VCD are typically high achievers, Type
A personalities.
Types of people affected include dancers, musicians, singers and competitive
athletes such as distance runners, skiers, soccer players, swimmers and
many others. In many people, exercise brings on the attack.
Some patients are not high achievers, yet they develop
symptoms as well.
